Portoro Marble Cloakroom, London

Portoro-effect porcelain cloakroom with backlit round mirror and brushed brass tap, London by FacetStudio

Everything floats, and every lit line makes the room read longer.

A compact London cloakroom in 600 × 1200 mm porcelain: Portoro-effect black with gold veining against Calacatta-effect white. The vanity unit was built on site and clad in the same Portoro porcelain, lit underneath so it floats clear of the floor. A backlit mirror and a continuous LED profile at ceiling level stretch the room visually, and the brushed brass brassware, flush plate and heated towel rail hold the gold in the veining.
