Ribbed Concrete Bathroom, London

Concrete-effect porcelain WC area with lit niche and heated towel rail, London bathroom by FacetStudio

Two access panels, two full tiles — the joint grid never breaks.

A London bathroom in 600 × 600 mm concrete-effect porcelain with underfloor heating throughout. Two service access panels were faced with single full tiles and set flush into the grid, so the joint pattern runs uninterrupted across the wall. The ribbed surfaces are 150 × 25 mm strips cut on site from the same porcelain and laid to match the setting-out, with mitred external corners and epoxy grout throughout. Slim recessed niches in the shower and above the WC are lit with warm LED, alongside wood-effect porcelain, a wall-hung WC and fitted cabinetry.
